Fearless Beauty

Helping women learn life-changing skills

During the New York years of my career I volunteered for a new women’s non-profit organization based in New York named Fearless Beauty which I am proud to say I still work with. Heather Packer, the creator of Fearless Beauty brought together a talented team educators from around the United States. This has been my most extraordinary and fulfilling venture so far. We started our program in India with a small group of Indian women to teach them skills to offer to their communities for empowerment of self and life skills for themselves. Fearless beauty continued back in the states at Rikers Island  Womens prison for 2 years and now moved to women in need that have been affected by the prison system, in New York City. This is a powerful passion for me, to give support and contribute to women everywhere for a strong community, filled with education, support and belief within us.

New York's jails and prisons are already in the midst of a humanitarian crisis as COVID-19 spreads uncontrollably throughout the facilities, where practices like social distancing, frequent hand-washing and showers, and access to adequate health care are impossible.
